Wednesday night (Dec 10th), despite unusually cold, below-freezing temperatures in North Carolina, our RTAI Youth Program winter in-person event was a full house! Parents and students braved the cold to gather at the Apex Community Center, filling the classroom with energy, curiosity, and excitement.

Over nearly two hours, two distinguished (Prof. Liu and Prof. Ding) and experienced scholars delivered an engaging and thought-provoking session on growing up in the age of AI. In a warm and welcoming setting, they explored what truly matters for the next generation, from emerging technology trends and learning pathways to mindset, critical thinking, and future opportunities in an AI-driven world.

For students, the session helped open the door to understanding AI beyond the buzzwords. For parents, it offered fresh perspectives on education and how to better support their children's growth in a rapidly changing landscape.

We left the cold outside, but carried home meaningful insights, great conversations, and renewed inspiration. Thank you to all the families who joined us and made this event such a success. We look forward to continuing to learn and grow together through the RTAI Youth Program.
